The polytunnels at High Nature are slowly being developed for light industrial use. The aim is to provide space and facilities for people to practice their arts and crafts, develop their hobbies, or try out new business idea. If you are interested in applying for a work space at High Nature tunnels, please enquire for more details.
We have all the latest tourist information available to yurt campers and day visitors, including local walking maps.
Our reference libary is availabe to both visitors and local residents. We have a wide selection of books focuing on arts and crafts, ecology, food growing, natural health, green building, trees, permaculture, herbal medicine, self-sufficiency, foraging and some more unusual ones too. Why not pop in for a cup of tea and relax in the polytunnel lounge with a good book?
Space for Growing Food
We offer indoor and outdoor food growing space to those living in the nearby area. Please enquire if you are interested in growing food here at High Nature.
We have a selection of games for you to enjoy from board games and jenga to table tennis, french bowls, cricket and frizbe!
WiFi is available in and around the polytunnel lounge and cafe.
We have a 12k washing machine located in the front cabin. The cost is £3 for a short cycle and £4 for long cycle, and there is plenty of space to dry your clothes in the warm and sunny tunnels.
