Terms and Conditions
To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of £150 per Yurt per holiday is required.
All balance payments are due to be paid in full no later than six weeks before arrival. If your holiday start date is within six weeks full payment is required.
We ask visitors to arrive between 3pm and 8pm on arrival days, and ask that you please contact the reception office if you are substantially delayed ie more than one hour behind your notified arrival time (a contact number will be sent when confirming your booking). Visitors who arrive much later must be prepared not to be greeted at the site, but you will receive instructions on how to reach your Yurt and you will be greeted the following day.
On arrival we require a cheque or cash 'damages deposit' of £100. This will be returned to you when you depart once we have confirmed there is no major damage to the yurt or its contents.
On the day of your departure we ask you to leave by 10am (please pre-arrange with us if you need to stay longer). You are kindly asked to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition, enabling us to return your damages deposit without any delay.
Health & Safety / Respect For Others
You will be staying in a coastal rural location with livestock and other hazards. Please make sure you keep your dogs under control at all times (dogs staying on site must be kept on a lead). Some of the camp equipment can be dangerous if misused. It is your responsibility to ensure you supervise any children you have with you. Please be aware that accidents can happen and we are not responsible for such accidents (to the greatest extent permitted by law).
PLEASE NOTE: Staying in a yurt can feel like you are in an insulated room, but remember.. the walls are made of canvas! We ask all our visitors to respect each other, and others staying in the area. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially after 9pm Mon-Thurs and 10pm at weekends.
If the cancellation is MORE than six weeks before arrival and the balance HAS NOT been paid, the deposit will not be refunded. Alternatively the deposit can be off-set against a holiday to be taken at a different date later in the year, subject to availability and a £50 handling charge, or rolled over to the following year.
If the cancellation is MORE than six weeks before arrival and the balance HAS been paid then the total cost of the holiday will be refunded, less a handling charge of £50, But ONLY if the booking is able to be re-let. If the booking cannot be re-let the cost will be refunded less a £75 handling charge. Alternatively the cost of the holiday can be off-set against a holiday to be taken at a different date, subject to availability and a handling charge of £50.00, later in the year or rolled over to the following year.
If the cancellation is LESS than six weeks before arrival and the balance HAS NOT been paid the whole of the deposit is non-refundable, nor can it be offset against another date later in the year, nor can it be rolled over to the following year, except in exceptional circumstances and by arrangement with the owners.
Whilst every effort will be made to avoid them, booking errors made by High Nature will not in any circumstances be compensated for unless there is less than 3 months until the booking dates commence.
