Tent & Campervan Pitches
We have 6 grass pitches here at High Nature. Pitches 6 & 7 are quiet camping pitches for tents only, they are located at the front of the yurt camp. Pitches 8, 9, and 10 are for tents or small campervans, they are located at the back near to the showers and toilets. All five of these pitches enjoy the magical light at sunset. We also have one large camping pitch on the sunrise side of the site, pitch 11. This is our largest pitch which is great for large families or small groups. All of our pitches are off-grid / without electricity.

Adult Pricing per night (age 16+):
Weekday peak (mon-thurs): £15 pp/pn
Weekend peak (fri-sun): £17.50 pp/pn
Weekday off-peak (mon-thurs): £10 pp/pn
Weekend off-peak (fri-sun): £12.50 pp/pn
Children aged 3-15 are half price, babies and toddlers aged 0-2 are free of charge
We appreciate people are often visiting the area to retreat and escape from their busy lives so our pitches are spaced out so that everyone can enjoy some privacy, this simultaneously allows plenty of space for nature to flourish. Please be aware that there are other people staying both at the Centre and in the nearby fields. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially after dark – thank you.
Please note: We do not accept large motorhomes or caravans. All campers need to bring their own camping kitchen equipment. Hot showers and toilets are of course provided.

Pitch 11 - Sunrise Grass Pitch
Grass Pitch: Mixed use, tents and small campervans allowed. Suitable for large families and small groups.
Private & Shared Facilities
Private Mobile Kitchen Units
We provide mobile kitchen units so that all our yurts can be independent if preferred. They include a sturdy workbench, cast iron gas hobs (gas included), a sink, a cool box, a water butt, food storage areas and all crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Freezer/cool packs can be rotated in a separate fridge/freezer located outside at the back of the yurt camp kitchen, you can also refill your water and dispose of waste and recycling here.
Shared Yurt Camp Kitchen Cabin (Yurts only)
This kitchen has everything you need for self catering including gas hobs, a grill, 2 ovens, fridges, small freezer, storage cupboards for food, washing up facilities, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, recycling bins, indoor and outdoor dining areas.
Those bringing their own accommodation will also need to bring their own camping kitchens.
Shared Tunnel Spaces
Some of our tunnels are accessible to our guests. You are most welcome to hang out in the games and solar shower tunnel, you will find a table tennis table and other games and art supplies here. Please tidy up before you leave and make sure kids are supervised and responsible. Our dining tunnel is available to use at lunch times and during bad whether (unless we have an event on). You are also welcome to hang wet clothes in our drying tunnel.
Compost Toilets
Our compost toilets are a dry ‘closed loop’ system meaning that your waste produce is converted into a valuable resource to feed our trees. The process takes 18 months. We have been doing this process since 2009 and our trees are very grateful!
Hot Showers
The hot showers and compost toilets are a shared facility and are located at the back of the main camping field. They are checked and cleaned regularly.
BBQ, Braizers, Fire Bowls
We have a limited number available here for our guests to use (please enquire). You are welcome to bring your own but all fires must be raised from the ground to protect the grass from damage.
